Pay Grade B1 4-6 £17,391 - £18,672 (Pro Rata)

32.5 hours per week, Term Time only.

SLD / PMLD Teacher (NQT / MPS / UPS) at Penny Field School

We are looking to recruit a SLD/PLMD teacher for our Penny Field School, who is a hardworking, relishes a challenge and prepared to give 100%. There is no doubt that this job is challenging however the rewards are significant. If you are a newly qualified or experience teacher who has real drive and passion to work with pupils with SEND, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience within a supportive and highly experience staff team. The successful candidate will be teaching a mixed KS2/KS3 class with severe learning difficulties.  The majority of the children will have medical and sensory needs as well as Physical impairments.  Some experience of PEC’s and Makaton would be an advantage but training is available.
