Benton Park High School Partnership

Benton Park is a mainstream secondary school that caters for 1400 pupils. They have high standards and expectations of their students and good behaviour makes a positive contribution to learning. Alongside this they have a highly qualified team of teaching and support staff that are continuously working to improve the experience for their students. The NWSILC partnership at Benton is housed in 3 classrooms all in different buildings within the school to promote our inclusion within the mainstream school. Each class currently has pupils from one keystage in it.

In Keystage 3 all curriculum subjects are covered and commencing in September 2016 these will be based around various themes e.g The World. In Keystage 4  subjects are offered to students on par with Benton Park mainstream (currently all subjects are taught). The focus in Keystage 5 is on a more life-skills based curriculum with a focus on gaining qualifications in ASDAN in Personal and Social Development. We have a lively and dedicated team of professionals and students are equally hard working and a joy to teach.
